Caroline & Aaron

If you ever need advice as to how to do a wedding, ask these two. What an atmosphere!

We started the day at Carolines parents house. Whilst the drinks and craic was flowing we captured some behind the scenes footage and truth be told had a great time ourselves with the bridal party.

Over to Aarons parents house nearby, we captured drone footage and filmed the lads getting ready & giving Aaron plenty of stick before heading to St Anthonys Church. Ive shot here before and knew some good spots for getting some great footage. I Mic’d up the groom for some crispy clean audio so the vows were captured perfectly. An ice cream/ coffee later and we were on the road to Corrick House Hotel.

This venue is just stunning. The location, gardens, interior. It’s just perfect. Luckily @CaraMacPhotography has the smoke bombs at the ready and we captured some truly amazing footage outside before heading inside.

We finished the day with some nighttime shots, dancing, and some guest interviews which are honestly, hilarious.

This is how weddings should be done!

Caroline & Joshua

Caroline & Joshua’s wedding was one of my favourites. We started the day at Carolines Parents house shooting detail shots, opening champagne & documenting the early morning vibes. A short drive away, Joshua and the groomsmen were getting ready; hip flasks at the ready. A few minutes before departure we left to meet the priest and set up in the church.

St Peters Church in Lurgan was absolutely bunged! We filmed the ceremony, vows and managed a quick spot of drone footage before moving on to Cabra Castle. Ive shot here a few times and today we got some of the best weather you could ask for!

Working alongside Andrea Morrissey @angelphotographyni, we got some epic bride and groom shots, showing off Carolines very unique and beautiful gown inside one the the grand rooms at Cabra Castle.

The lighting in the evening was absolutely perfect, so a few more outside shots completed the shoot and made for one of my favourite wedding videos to date!

No speeches made for such a relaxed atmosphere, so we delivered both a vertical highlight video for socials and a 14 minute full length video which you can view by clicking below.

Mise & Michael

Mise & Michael’s wedding started off with a crisp, frosty spring morning at the couples house in Craigavon. My second shooter Aaron got straight to work shooting the bride & bridesmaids getting ready and shooting the morning craic, whilst I captured some detail shots upstairs. The flowers, invites and general nude colour palette choice here was simply stunning!

An hour or so later we left the girls and nipped over to the grooms parents house. Some shots of the groom, Jonnah (the most well behaved wee man I think i’ve worked with), parents & the groomsmen in one of the best man caves ever and we were nearly ready to go. As Michael finished off inside the groomsmen couldn’t resist a swig of the finest tonic!

It’s always fab working with @sashatreanorphotography who had the champagne opening well underway. I had the drone in the air and ready to go and captured the moment from above. The bridesmaids hadn’t seen Mise’s dress yet and we captured the moment from 2 angles! Alica’s reaction says it all! Beautiful!

Off to St Johns Chapel for the ceremony where we filmed the vows, some shots from the air and the ceremony before nipping off to Farnham Estate which I loved that much I booked a weekend stay a few weeks later! Working with Sasha we shot exterior footage and just as the rain came on, interior footage of the newlyweds before speeches and partying after the first dance. This is how you do a wedding!

Evie & Des

Out of all the weddings i’ve shot the thing we all hope for is fantastic weather, and on Evie & Desmonds big day, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky!

First stop was Evie’s parents house. My first port of call is capturing the detail shots. Dress, ring, flowers etc. Downstairs the craic was in full flight as Evie and her two sisters sipped on a few glasses of bubbly whilst Shauna Lyness @youmephotographyni and I shot some candid shots in the background.

Next stop, Desmonds mums house which was about 15 minutes away to capture the lads getting ready. After a good pint of stout and some family shots I was back to Evie’s for some final shots. Walking down the stairs is always an emotional moment.

Off to St Peters for the ceremony. Ive shot here quite a few times and there’s some great spots to film the vows from. I mic’d up Des for some clean audio for the vows and despite the large crowd was able to get some epic drone shots before shooting off to the palace in Armagh. I think we arrived about 4 minutes before everyone, so I was able to capture the wedding cars arriving from the air. Some family and solo shots then off to the Hillgroove in Monaghan.

The interior of the Hillgroove is literally stunning and the venue is great for filming speeches because it’s so large. The speeches were short and sweet with Evie’s father having the audience in stitches laughing! A very romantic first dance along with some fun on the dance floor concluded this epic day.

Samantha & Wayne

Every wedding is unique, but some are more unique than others and I absolutely loved Samantha & Waynes take on how to do it!

We started the day off at the Belmont Hotel in Banbridge, coincidently the place Samantha and Wayne first met. We hadn’t far to travel as the ceremony was held in the hotel itself and honestly, it was one of the most meaningful and personal ceremonies i’ve ever seen. A great way to celebrate their big day.

Afterwards we captured some footage of the newlyweds along with Jayden who was in top form, even showing me a thing or two about cameras, taking this epic polaroid of me taking a photo of him! It now sits in my office as a reminder of the craic we had! Truly grateful to be a part of their big day!

Jack & Ciarrai

Jack & Ciarrai’s wedding is one I remember really well, because it was at one of my favourite places in NI, Newcastle.

We shot alongside @JoanneSymingtonPhotography to capture some epic footage of the newly weds on the Newcastle promenade followed by a quick stop at Ciarrai’s stable to visit her horses.

The chosen venue was The Mill in Downpatrick, and what a location! Arriving by horse drawn carriage we shot their entrance from the air and at ground level, capturing every moment and making this one of the best weddings i’ve worked on to date.

Helen & Ciaran

Helen & Ciarans big day started off started off at Helen’s fathers house. Working as a pair, Aaron my second shooter and I started into some detail shots, family, make up and finally the big dress reveal which no one had seen yet. I always love the reaction shots and the bridesmaids faces say it all!

A short drive to Ciarans parents house for some shots of the gents getting ready. With the sun out we sat behind the scenes and let the lads enjoy a few beers before leaving for St Peters in Lurgan where the ceremony was being held.

The Rabbit in Templepatrick was the chosen venue, and what a place! The gardens at the rear are just stunning and the weather made it all that bit better. And what an entrance to dinner!

I think one of the highlights of the day was the guest speeches at the end. The drinks were flowing and the craic was mighty. All i’m saying if you both have some hilarious friends!
